My statues are gone after reinstalling

They should come back on their own. Chisel keeps a copy of your carved hours and finished statues in your own iCloud, so opening the app on a restored or replaced phone restores the Stoa. If it does not, check that iCloud is on and that you are signed in to the same Apple Account. Chisel has no account of its own and nothing is stored on our side, so there is nothing we can restore for you.

I paid, and Chisel Pro is not on

Open Settings inside Chisel and tap Restore purchases. A subscription belongs to your Apple Account rather than to the app, so it returns on any device signed in to that account. Chisel also re-checks every time it comes to the front.

The Gate is not holding my apps

I need to get into a blocked app

Open it and choose Go in anyway on the panel Chisel shows. It costs two minutes of carving and opens that app for the rest of the hora. A discipline hora has no way through — that is what makes it discipline.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are cancelled through Apple, not through Chisel: on your iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling leaves Pro on until the period you have paid for ends. The lifetime purchase is a one-off and never renews.

Letters from the Stoa

One letter is written each week and it is the same letter for every reader. Anyone can read its opening; Chisel Pro opens the whole of it and every letter before it. If a letter will not open, it is almost always the network — Chisel asks again each time you open the Stoa.

Deleting everything

Settings inside Chisel → Reset all progress clears what is on the phone and the copy in your iCloud at the same time. Deleting the app removes the phone's copy only; the iCloud copy can be removed in Settings → your name → iCloud.

Privacy
